Storyline

Merlin (Radhika Prasiddha) is a newly married school teacher, who is about to start a fresh lease of life with her soul mate, Manikandan ( Sai Rajkumar). As the couple belongs to different community, it's quite obvious that Merlin's mom is not willing to accept her. On her first day at school, Merlin accepts to substitute one of her colleague but unfortunately that particular decision turns her life upside down as she beats a naughty student, Chezhiyan (Master Ajay), who collapses and goes into coma. Chezhiyan's mom (Sathya) is a single parent and auto driver, his uncle Udayan (Pavel Navageethan) is a communist, who can't tolerate and fight back against the carelessness of the rich. Written by Ranjith

One of the best Tamil films in the recent times. When everyone sails towards commercial victories, This Crew has sailed their ship towards the true emotions with next-door-like characters and added a feather to their hat. The visualization for Chinnanchiru Kiliye is the best i have seen so far for the song. The nuances are so delicate and brings tears. The attention to minute details of each and every character is amazing. Music has really been the backbone of the film. Underplayed and sometimes blank is the exact terminology for the music. The character Udayan (Chezhian's Uncle) is a respectable one. The Headmaster and his wife impress us in the scene where they reveal about their daughter. Lots more to tell.
